Adsome For Alasdair · Tokyo Nights

After London · city by city

We made your first
ads before you asked.

Thanks for the call on Wednesday, Alasdair. Rather than send you another deck, we went ahead and built a few Tokyo Nights ads for the cities you named, in their own language, so you can judge the work before you spend a pound on it.

What we heard

London worked. The question is the next ten cities.

If we understood you right, the show itself is proven and the worry is the size of the markets after London. You need around 10,000 tickets per city (ideally 15,000), and nobody has done this in Berlin or Stockholm before, so you would rather test demand with a sign-up campaign before you commit to a venue.

I'm just more nervous about some of the European cities because they're not quite as big. You, on the call, 28 October
Maybe we do a test sign-up campaign just to see if the local audience is interested. You, on the call

Spec ads, made for you

Five cities, four languages.

Every word on these was written and set by us (not by an AI image tool), in your typeface and your colours, with your logo. The images are new, built from the look of your own photos and showreel, and the video is cut straight from your London footage.

Berlin ad in German
Berlin · GermanUses London as social proof, the hook you said you could stand behind.
Paris ad in French
Paris · FrenchFood first, for the people who book a dinner and get a show.
Amsterdam ad in Dutch
Amsterdam · DutchYour four teams idea, because cheering for a side is the bit people retell.
Stockholm ad in Swedish
Stockholm · SwedishSeen from the table, so it reads like a guest's own photo.
Manchester ad in English
Manchester · EnglishBuilt for the priority list you are running right now.
Manchester story ad
Manchester · StoryVertical version for Stories and Reels.
Berlin · Reel from your footageYour London showreel, recut to 9:16 with German lines on top. This is how we would localise the UGC and live clips you already have.
HOW TO READ THESE

Drafts to react to, not finished ads

They are examples made for this proposal and none of them are live. Before anything runs we check every claim with you (the sold out line, the dinner, the age limit), and a native speaker reads every language before it goes out.

The plan

Test the city first, then fill it.

01 · DEMAND TEST

A sign-up campaign per city

Priority access ads in the local language for the cities you are unsure about, then a cost per sign-up for each one, so you can compare Stockholm with Berlin on real numbers before you book a venue.

02 · LAUNCH ADS

A batch per city and language

Stills, short videos and recuts of your London footage, with your English UGC kept as it is and the statics and text written for each market.

03 · ON SALE

Budget follows the tickets

One campaign per city in your own ad account. When a night sells out its money moves to the nights that still have seats, and we make more of whatever is selling.

Two ways to work

Pick what fits your new hire.

You mentioned someone starts next week who covers ads along with email, CRM and SEO. Both options below work with that, it just depends on who presses the buttons in Ads Manager.

A · We make the ads, your team runs them
£2,000 per ad pack
  • Around 20 images and 5 short videos for one city, in its language
  • Recuts of your London footage and UGC included
  • Ready within four weeks, depending on how quickly feedback comes back
  • Need 30 ads across three cities? £2,900 for the batch
Sign-up test ads can be part of the pack, ready for your team to switch on.
B · We make the ads and run the cities
£399 per show
  • All the ads above, in every language, kept fresh while the run is on
  • The demand test, then one campaign per city in your ad account
  • Budget moved from sold out nights to slow ones
  • A report every week, per city
Eight shows in Berlin come to £3,192. Our touring rate is £599 per show, the lower rate is because a run of nights in one city shares one campaign. Ad budget is separate and paid by you straight to Meta.

Prices exclude VAT.

Why us

9.2x

Tracked ticket sales for every pound we spent on Meta, across three tour productions.

On those three we made both the film and the ads, and every date sold out. It was Sweden, not Berlin, and your show is new everywhere, so I would not promise you the same number, but it is the same way of working we would bring to Tokyo Nights.

Tracked purchases in Meta, several tours 2023 to 2026.

Next step

Pick two cities and we test them.

Once your new marketing lead is in, let's do a short call with the three of us. You tell us which cities worry you most, and we start with the sign-up test there.
